This website is owned and operated by Professor A. Smellintime™, a North Carolina based online soap company. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. The Professor A. Smellintime™ website offers visitors handcrafted soaps and accessories. By accessing or using the website of our service, you agree that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. Age of Patrons: In order to use our website and/or receive our services, you must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom, to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not allowed to use this website and/or receive services if doing so is prohibited under any law or regulation applicable to you.

2. Your Responsibilities: When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and complete the check-out payment process.

3. Prices and Corrections: The prices we charge for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.

4. Product Accuracy: Much care is given by Professor A. Smellintime™ to supply images on the website that accurately reflect our products, but please note that due to the handcrafted nature of our soap, the actual product may vary from what is shown.

5. Tax: All Prices are listed pre-tax. North Carolina sales tax will be added during the checkout process.

6. Return and Refund Policy: Due to the nature of our product, we cannot accept returns. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may contact Professor A. Smellintime™ within 30 days of your order to request a resolution.

7. Privacy Policy: We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

8. Security Policy: Your payment and personal information are always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

9. Right to Change and Modify Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review this page periodically. Your continued use of the website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these Terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.

Promotional Emails and Content: You agree to receive promotional messages and materials from us, by mail, email, or any other contact form you may provide us with (including your phone number for calls or text messages). If you do not want to receive such promotional materials or notices, please notify us at any time.

11. Products and Services Policy: Professor A. Smellintime™ does not warrant that the quality of any product, service, information, or other material purchased or obtained by the Patron will meet the Patron’s expectations, or that any errors in the service will be corrected.

12. Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be determined to be contrary to law and unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall be severable and enforceable in accordance with their terms.
